With seven years of research and development, and a no-compromise approach to engineering, the 1012 Active-Bass is our flagship floor-standing loudspeaker with a passive midrange and treble and inbuilt amplification for bass.

A 4-way floor-standing loudspeaker with an AMT tweeter, a 7" midrange, a 10" dedicated mid-bass and a 12" low-bass driver, each optimised for its frequency range.

The 10" mid-bass driver is housed in its own sealed enclosure, delivering unmatched mid-bass speed and definition. The 12" low-bass driver is optimised for 20-80Hz, providing exceptional low-frequency extension with precision and control. Both of which are powered by 700W per channel of class D amplification.

 

The 1012  incorporates advanced technologies throughout:

• Cabinets optimised to minimise internal reflections

• Non magnetic terminals to reduce signal distortion

• Internal wiring configured to minimse RFI and EMI

• Crossovers optimised for phase coherence

• Drive units engineered for linear motor force at high output, minimal thermal compression and exceptionally low harmonic and intermodulation distortion
